Yesterday was one for the books. A few local guides and fly fisherman were allowed access to the legendary Fanny Bridge water in an effort to land and relocate the monstrous trout that hold there. Visitors to Tahoe City often enjoyed watching the trout swim under Fanny Bridge, so named because of what drivers would see as they traveled over the bridge. On Tuesday they watched people fishing where they aren’t usually allowed to fish, but obviously it was for a very good cause.
