This Sunday, October 16th, Trout Unlimited is helping host the Truckee River Day with the Truckee River Watershed Council!

Trout Unlimited is leading a large scale project doing re-vegetation and trail work on the Little Truckee River, a world class trout stream. We hope to get 40-50 volunteers out to the event. Bring your friends and family and get your gloves, shovels and boots ready! The project will start at 9 am and finish no later than 3 pm. Meet at Boyington Mill campground on the stretch of the Little Truckee between Stampede and Boca Reservoir off of Stampede Dam Rd (look for the Trout Unlimited sign). To participate in this restoration project, please visit http://www.truckeeriverwc.org/events-a-programs/calendar/join/258-21st-annual-truckee-river-day and sign up for the full day event. The facebook event is located here: https://www.facebook.com/events/708313579318520/ . Please share!

Join us after for The River Fair which will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Granite Flat Campground, with a special event at 3 pm. The fair features fun environmental activities for kids and adults. Food will be provided free of charge by Northstar California.

Please contact Sam Sedillo: ssedillo@tu.org if you have any questions about the Trout Unlimited project.
